The Psychology of Teaching and Learning. This course, designed for practicing teachers and administrators, will be offered in the Spring Session between March 15th and May 31st. Registration is now in progress.

This course will examine ways to use the theories, principles and research methods of psychology to understand learning and to inform the teaching and curriculum processes. Theories explaining types of knowledge as well as how it is acquired, stored and retrieved will be examined in relation to learning and teaching. Participants in this course will be expected to question their own practice and to apply new knowledge to their own learning and teaching situations.
