Course Overview
From the Bishop’s University Academic Calendar 2022/2023. This course will provide secondary education student teachers with an additional exposure to general methods of teaching and enhance their knowledge of student-centered evaluation principles and practices.

To elaborate: this course seeks to enhance your proficiency in skillfully orchestrating assessment planning to equip you for evaluating students within diverse high school subject domains. Moreover, it aims to equip you with the competencies required for effective teaching and evaluation. The exploration of evaluation is closely interwoven with teaching methods, recognizing their interconnectedness in nurturing student learning. Anchored in advanced teaching methods and evaluation concepts, this course assumes a foundational grasp of various assessment techniques and tools, as well as essential skills in designing lessons. It is also anticipated that students possess a foundational awareness of and experience in integrating diverse teaching strategies.
