This course is an advanced (3rd/4th year) level cell biology course. Students with preexisting knowledge of basic cell and molecular biology will, in this course, deepen their understanding of molecular interactions and mechanisms underlying cell functions. We will investigate those mechanisms using techniques commonly used in biochemistry and cell biology research labs. This course will include a significant amount of lab work mixed with short lectures, activities calling upon critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
